At Corona we are committed to making Mexico a better place, which is why we have been cleaning beaches for more than 5 years through collection and recycling, beaches are an important part of Corona’s DNA and we have been working to address the problem, looking for solutions that have a great impact on the industry, such as rings of natural fibers in the six pack that can become a new standard to reduce the use of plastic”affirmed Clarissa Pantoja, Director of Corona México.
The elimination of plastic in the Corona production chain shows the commitment to generate a change in the industry through the replacement of the current rings by rings made from natural fibers.
Our oceans are at risk. We are taking our lives at full speed, destroying the chemistry that allows us to be where we are. Corona is synonymous with beaches and is a great ally in our war against marine plastic pollution. We share the goal of eliminating plastic forever, because we can not allow the toxic impact it is causing, “said Cyrill Gutsch, founding CEO of Parley for the Oceans.
Once again, the brand contributes to the progress of the brewing industry where it is the leader in Mexico and to the care of the land that saw it born.
