The adoption of corals helps the restoration of the reefs in Mexico to encourage the increase of coral reef cover.

We face a global ocean challenge, only with the rise of the water temperature many of the coral reef has already bleached.

Ocean acidification, overfishing, oil leaks and many other treats are generating the so called Ocean Holocaust.

The lack of awareness of the general public on this matter allows the non ethical private sector to develop without environmental regulations and a low respect for the ecosystem.

 

A special program of actions and experiences ready to educate the children in the area, sensibilise and empower the local community to demand environmental integrity to the public sector. 

The tourists are also a key element in the program.

Through Samsung Gear VR virtual reality viewers, the inhabitants of southeastern Mexico
had the opportunity to know the depths of the Caribbean Sea, discovering the majesty of the Mesoamerican Reef, as well as the different factors that threaten its conservation, and its ecosystem.

It is expected that the reproduction of corals will have a multiplier effect that covers more affected area

Mexican Caribbean is a key part of the MesoAmerican Coral Reef, the 2nd largest in the world, the first one is located in Australia, here in México where 13,000,000 tourists will be visiting from late leaving a human trace.

People don’t want to, it´s just that they don´t know about it information will appeal to collective conciusness, street art efforts, person to person actions are part of the actions to keep clear and free of risk the coral barrier.
